Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again! Greece’s Anti-Film Sentiment Persists

The news that Greece’s powerful Central Archaeological Council (KAS) came to its senses and decided to let the BBC shoot a scene at Cape Sounion for the spy miniseries The Little Drummer Girl, an adaptation of a John le Carre novel, should do little to make filmmakers think the welcome mat is out yet in a country that has always seemed determined to push movies about Greece to some other country more inviting.
