Methodios Αsks for Operational Funds for Boston Metropolis

BOSTON, MA – His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston in a December 15 letter to “the Clergy and Parish Councils of the Metropolis of Boston” asked them to give money for the Metropolis’ operational expenses. Metropolitan Methodios claims that “our Metropolis has not received any operational funding during 2017” from the Archdiocese.

Among other things, Methodios wrote that “perhaps more than at any other time in modern history, we especially need the support, guidance, and protection of our Orthodox Christian faith …

  1. The whole way the Arlington Church was treated and handled is a disgrace. I get the sense that it doesn’t really matter what the “little people” think. From what is going on in Boston to the whole archdiocese, it is a shame and one that has repercussions for all. I hope there is a change on many levels. A lot has gotten swept under the rug and if our leaders aren’t held accountable, then what? I haven’t lost my faith in God, but certainly in our church leaders–at the archdiocese level and the local metropolis level.

  2. It’s time for change in Arlington, Massachusetts! It’s time that Father Nick was returned to Saint Athanasius! It’s time to remove disgruntled Parish Council members! It’s time for the election of truly spiritual parish council members!
