The year 2018 promises to be one of new beginnings for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. At the very least, a new metropolitan will be elected to shepherd the Metropolis of Chicago, while news reports here and abroad continue to suggest that a succession at the seniormost level may also be expected.
