I had written about the Office of the Chancellor years ago. I revisit the subject today responding to questions by many of our readers who ask about it because of the unpresented events that took place at St. Athanasius Greek Orthodox parish in Arlington, MA. The local hierarch left for Greece leaving behind a letter with the chancellor, concerning the dismissal of the parish priest, who served there 28 years.
