Corfu and Patmos Recorded a Large Number of Tourists

The tourism sector perfomed well during the Easter holidays, sending a positive for the summer period, representatives of the tourism industry said in statements to the Athens Macedonian News Agency.

The islands of Corfu and Patmos recorded a large number of tourists followed by Crete and Sporades.
The good weather and the fact that the Orthodox and Catholic Easter coincided were the main reasons of the increase in tourists.
