Greek tourism is taking a hit over fears of international terrorism and reports a key planner in the Paris attacks came through the county.

The head of the Association of Hellenic Tourism Enterprises, Andreas Andreadis, said that the recent attacks in Egypt and France and threat of more aimed at tourists have slowed bookings in Greece, which hasn’t been hit.

The United States Department of State has issued a travel warning telling American citizens traveling abroad to stay alert when in public spaces or using public transport.

Andreadis said that, “It is wrong to say Greece will fill up with tourists because other countries have terrorism problems,” as the news freezes people into not going anywhere.
