Cop Testifies Against Roupakias

ATHENS – A police officer said he found a bloody knife outside the car of a Golden Dawn member accused of stabbing to death an anti-fascist hip-hop artist in 2013.

Dimitris Kouretzis, who was at the scene of rapper Pavlos Fyssas’s murder, said the accused, Giorgos Roupakias – who has since admitted to the killing – told him, “I did it, don’t tell anybody, I’m one of you,” as he was found smoking in the front seat of his car, with the engine running and the lights on.

“I asked him, ‘what do you mean?’ and he replied, “I belong to Golden Dawn.” Kouretzis said he replied, “Sir, you are not one of us,’ I told him and took him to the police station.”

The police officer said he found a bloody knife behind the car’s left wheel.
