The Evrytanian Association of America 'Karpenisi' held a traditional Rumeliot dance on Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 at Leonard's of Great Neck. Greek Americans from the region of Evrytania came from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and as far as North Carolina, to hear renowned clarinetist Giorgos Demetropoulos, who came all the way from Greece for the event.
