A special ceremony was held at the Annunciation Cathedral of New England in Boston Mass. commemorating 841 Greek American local area veterans who fought for their country, as of WWI all the way to the recent Gulf War. Annunciation Cathedral Dean V. Rev. Dr. Cleopas Strongylis is seen in the center, along with the event Chairperson Christopher Gasis, far right.
841 Greek American veterans were honored at the Annunciation Cathedral of New England on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, including 500 who received the honor posthumously.
