Family St. Nicholas Day Celebration The Cathedral Parents’ Society organized by the Catheral Church of the Holy Trinity had their first Family St. Nicholas Celebration on December 10, 2010, honoring the feast day of St. Nicholas. Father Frank Marangos, Dean of the Cathedral, began the evening with a paraklesis service, recounting to the families and children, the life of St. Nicholas and the meaning of his generous works. The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is the only Church in the Western hemisphere housing relics of St. Nicholas. The relics are kept under a large ornamented mosaic wall depicting the Saint. At the end of the service everyone prayed and paid respect to the relics of Saint Nicholas.
