St. Basil’s Academy held its annual graduation ceremony on a brilliant Saturday afternoon (June 19, 2010) in Garrison New York, including a virtual army of well-wishers in the persons of volunteers and long-time and devoted donors to the academy. Andreas Spenzos (MA, Boston College), Joseph Coutlis Al-Shanniek (BA, Seton Hall) and Amde Gizaw (high school graduate) offered emotional testimony of their life-altering experience at St. Basil's.
