The Hephaestus dance troupe, under the direction of Vagia Alagianni, performed traditional folk dances from Lemnos, Icaria, and other areas from Greece.
The Pan Lemnian Philanthropic Association Hephaestus celebrated its 104th anniversary with a dinner dance at Terrace on the Park on Sat. March 6, 2010. The evening's honorees included popular singer and academician Gregory Maninakis, Dr. Basil Keramidas, Zoe Kollaras, and Dr. George Konstantinou. Awards from the Iraklis Diamataris Scholarship Fund were also handed out.
