Greece Asks Federation of Hellenic American Societies of NY to Assume Expenses of Presidential Guard for Parade

Theodore Pavlakos reiterated his proposal that the Greek Parade on Fifth Avenue start a little more south.
The Military Office of Greek President Karolos Papoulias asked the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York to assume the airfare and accommodation expenses for ten members of the Greek Presidential Guard set to participate in this year's Greek Independence Day Parade on Fifth Avenue. The Evzones would be in New York for three days, with the total cost of the expense estimated at $50,000.
