Greek Culture and Tourism Minister Visits NY Times Travel Show

Greece's Culture and Tourism Minister Pavlos Geroulanos visited The New York Times 2010 Travel Show in New York City where some 500 tourist destinations were on display to an audience of 30,000 visitors. The event, which took place from Friday Feb. 26 to Sun. Feb. 28, was held at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. Mr. Geroulanos attended the event on Saturday. Over 500 exhibitors are displaying their tourist destinations and products at the exhibition, which drew over 30,000 visitors. There are 32 Greek companies and organizations represented at the Greek booth together with the GNTO, including the Prefectures of Magnesia - represented by Prefect Apostolos Papatolias, Deputy Prefect Evie Adamaki, and Parliament deputy Pavlos Markakis - Southeastern Attica, and the Municipality of Mykonos.
