The Hellenic Lawyers Association in conjunction with the Pan Imvrian Society of New York held an event dedicated to the Greeks of Imvros and Tenedos on Thurs. Feb. 25, 2010 at the Atrium Cafe in Manhattan's Olympic Tower. Greece's Ambassador to the UN Anastasis Mitsialis attended the event, along with NY State Assembly candidate Aravella Simotas, Chris Stratakis, the President of the Imvrian Union of Macedonia and Thrace Pavlos Stamatiades and the President of the Imvrian Society of Athens Paris Asanakis.
