Community Bids Farewell to Distinguised Churchman Peter (Prodromos) Kourides

More than a hundred family members, friends and clergy members attended the funeral service for attorney and Archon Megas Nomophylax Peter (Prodromos) T. Kourides on Monday, February 22, at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan, presided by his Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America. Mr. Kourides was born in Constantinople in 1910 and died on Tuesday, February 16 in Forest Hills. He outlived his beloved wife by 36 years and he is survived by his two children and seven grandchildren.
