Michael Halkias, owner of The Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn, NY is putting together an honorary dinner for world renowned archaeologist George Papathanasopoulos on Sun. Feb. 28, 2010 to promote efforts to keep open the Diros Center for Neolithic Studies, along with the Alepotrypa Cave in Laconia - a place of origin for many Greek Americans.
