The CYPRECO Cultural Association will hold an event at the Stathakion Center on Fri. Feb. 19, 2010, where it will show a screening of Vasia Markides' documentary "Hidden in the Sand." The film illustrates the drama surrounding the occupied Cypriot city of Famagusta, and all the other Cypriot cities and towns that remain under Turkish occupation since the Attila invasion 36 years ago. CYPRECO President and event chairperson Elena Marouletti said that she was expecting a capacity crowd.
