he “Eparhias Kynourias” Society held its annual dance on Sat. Feb. 13, 2010 at the Holy Trinity church hall in Hicksville, NY. According to its President Demetris Panagos, the dance was dedicated to the society's youth. During the event, Panagiotis Marneris and his wife Laura handed out annual scholarship awards from the George Marneris Scholarship Fund, in honor of their late son.
