The Hellenic Student Association at Long Island University's Brooklyn campus raised $4,000, which it donated to the Greek Division of the Ronald McDonald House, which takes in cancer stricken children and their families from Greece and Cyprus who are undergoing treatment in the US. A ceremony was held on Thurs. February 11, 2010, at LIU, where the donations were presented to Ronald McDonald House Greek Division Chairperson Niki Sideris.
