The Eleftheria Pancyprian under 16 boys soccer team will be heading to Cyprus for a 10-day trip on Feb. 11, 2010 to participate in a tournament with four Cypriot teams. 17 players will be making the trip all together, along with two coaches, two chaperons, and team manager Steve Batalas. This will be the 5th such trip to Cyprus for the Eleftheria Pancyprians thanks to a grant by the Cypriot Government. Players will have an opportunity to visit historical and archaeological sites, as well as attend Division I soccer games. The Eleftheria Pancyprians held a dinner on Feb. 4, 2010 at the Pancyprian Lounge in Astoria, NY to honor the players, their families, and the sponsors of the trip.
