Greek Alternate Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas visited The National Herald's main office in Long Island City, NY on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, where he met with TNH Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Antonis H. Diamataris. During their meeting, Mr. Droutsas' diplomatic contacts in Washington DC and New York were discussed, along with a series of issues related to the Greek American Community and Greece. Greek Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Gregoris Delavekouras, Greece's Ambassador to the US Vasilis Kaskarelis, Greek Consul General in NY Ambassador Aghi Balta, and Greek Press Office Director in NY Polyxeni Mastroperrou accompanied Mr. Droutsas during his visit.
