Ten-year-old twins Costas and Demetris Sporidis, who hail from the Congo, are looking for a family to care for them. The twins are growing up without their Greek father, who died, while their mother is battling terminal cancer. Their father's brother, who is retired and resides in Philadelphia, wants to help them and has asked the St. Basil's Academy in Garrison, NY to take them in as students, however, the institution has been reluctant to do so, citing immigration issues.
