Greek Teachers Association 'Prometheus' Holds Annual Christmas Party

The Greek Teachers Association 'Prometheus' held its annual Christmas party on Tues., Dec. 29, 2009 at Mezzo Mezzo Restaurant in Astoria, NY. During the event, members of the Hellenic Medical Society of New York, including President Dr. George Tsioulias, were in attendance. HMS is cooperating with Prometheus to support programs for Greek American educators and promote Greek language and learning. "We recognized the significant role that educators are playing in the Greek American Community," Dr. Tsioulias said.
