Greek language adult learners at St. Demetrios Cathedral in Astoria, NY are seen singing Christmas carols at the language programs Christmas celebration, which was held on Wednesday Dec. 16, 2009 at the community's parish council conference room. Program Director Timoleon Kokkinos addressed the audience and praised the adult learners - many of whom have no Greek background whatsoever - for their interest in learning the Greek language and desire to espouse the Greek traditions.
