Rev. Chris Flesorasm Pastor of St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church in Roseville, Calif. was the victim of a smash and run. Robbers smashed the back window of his car, and his communion kit. The Eucharist, a blessing cross, prayer books, clerical robes, and a century-old vessel were just some of the bag’s contents. Rev. Flesoras isn’t angry at the culprit. In fact, he said he’s more concerned about the perpetrator’s conscience. “I wouldn’t want this on anyone else’s soul as far as stealing a priest’s communion kit,” he said.
