The 'Prometheus' Greek Teachers Assocation held a general meeting on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2009, at the Archdiocese's Hellenic Cultural Center in Astoria, NY. In addition to educational issues on the agenda and presentations by the Archdiocese's National Director of Greek Education Dr. Ioannis Efthymiopoulos and Direct Archdiocesan District Education Director Maria Makedon, Dr. Nicholas Mezitis spoke to educators about preventive measures against the H1NI flu.
