Groundbreaking Ceremony for Greek Studies Center and Orthodox Chapel

Elias Tomazos, founder and President of the Greek Studies Association "Paideia" is seen together with Boston businessman Andreas Karpouzis, during the ground breaking ceremony of the St. Luke chapel. Mr. Karpouzis is one of the first and biggest supporters of the Greek Studies Center at the University of Connecticut, which was established in 1987.
On Sunday afternoon Nov. 15, 2009, the groundbreaking ceremony for the St. Luke Chapel was held under the auspices of the "Paideia" Greek Studies Center at Rhode Island State University, in Kingston, RI.
