On Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 the Chian Federation in association with the Pan-Chian Association "Koraes" held an event at the St. Markella Greek Orthodox Community in Wantagh, NY to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the liberation of Chios in 1912.
