Greek American Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Astoria by Greek American Driver

Konstantinos Stavropolous, 65, a taxi driver from Jackson Heights, NY was killed in a car accident on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at approximately 5:50 p.m., while crossing the street at the intersection of 21st Avenue and 23rd Street in Astoria, NY. The driver involved in the accident, George Massurides, also a Greek American, was taken into custody, on an unrelated warrant.
