The Institute for Dodecanese Studies honored Prof. Eleni Skourtou of the University of the Aegean on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at a dinner at Stamatis Restaurant in Astoria, NY. The President of the Institute Demosthenes Triantafillou spoke in detail about the work of the Institute and offered the guest of honor a book entitled "The History of Dodecanese Societies of America and Canada."
