St. Demetrios High School Soccer Team in Astoria Continues Impressive Run

The St. Demetrios Greek American School of Astoria soccer team, advanced to the PSAA playoffs. Seen in this team photo are Messrs. Bouzoukos, Sarellis, Emexezidis, Zangalis, Damian, Papanikolaou, Skotidis, Mickoulenicci, Kosmides, Neophytou, Bata, Tamitis, Prasinos, Sarantis, Maistorovic, Zikopoulos, and Kontos, led by their coach Konstantinos Kontos.
The St. Demetrios Greek-American High School soccer team in Astoria advanced to the Private Schools Athletic Association playoffs, after beating some of the top teams in the PSAA. The final four is scheduled for October 27 and 29, 2009.
