On Sunday afternoon October 11, 2009 the Society of Kastorians "Omonoia" held an event at its privately owned headquarters in Whitestone, NY related to zoning laws. Officials from the New York City Department of Buildings were on hand to brief the members on the recent changes to zoning laws, which are of great relevance to Greek American home and business owners in New York's five boroughs.
