Constantinople Society Supports St. Nicholas School in Flushing and Great School of the Nation

The Greek Society of Constantinople in New York held a gathering in the St. Nicholas Shrine Church in Flushing, NY on Sunday, October 4, 2009 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Following the divine liturgy, St. Nicholas Pastor Rev. Paul Palesty called on the organization's President Makis Katsantonis to speak about the soon-to-be published commemorative album GSC is issuing. The album's honorary Chairman Stephen Cherpelis also spoke, noting that the proceeds from the album will go to support the schools in the St. Nicholas Community in Flushing, NY and the Great School of the Nation in Constantinople. These two institutions will become sister schools.
