Obama’s Executive Order Gives Some Illegal Aliens Chance for Legal Status
TNH staffNEW YORK – President Barack Obama recently issued an executive order that allows people who entered the United States illegally prior to age 16 and are still under age 31 to apply for a deferment of removal (which is the legal term for deportation). The aliens would not achieve legal status, but would be able to renew the deferment every two years
