Greek Military Will Not Extend Compulsory Service

ATHENS – One of the potential cost-cutting measures to help Greece’s struggling economy – lengthening compulsory military service from nine months to one year – has been ruled out, Defense Minister Panos Panagiotopoulos has said.

The end of Greece is at hand economically and politically. The youth of Greece and their future population are leaving Greece in drones. Without a youth any society and country becomes a non country. This is the responsibility of this failed government they have now. Hopefully something else will come into power, but I don't see which type of government can succeed right now. Too bad for the average Greeks and youth.
