Greece’s Ambassador to the U.S. is Promoted, Will be Missed by Community

ATHENS - Greece’s Ambassador to the United States, Vassilis Kaskarelis, has been appointed General Secretary of the Greek Foreign Ministry. The announcement was made this week in conjunction with those of the general secretaries of all the ministries of the Greek government. Kaskarelis has served with distinction in Washington since he presented his credentials to President Barak Obama on July 20, 2009.
