BOSTON, MA – A sexual abuse scandal has arisen at Holy Cross Theological School in Brookline, MA involving a 50 year-old married student who reportedly abused a teenage girl sexually on campus. Rev. Nicholas Triantafillou, president of Hellenic College – Holy Cross, told TNH that “the only thing I can tell you is that the School took immediate and appropriate action [regarding the suspect and the victim and her family].” Triantafillou refused to discuss the girl’s condition or whether the authorities had been notified. Despite TNH’s persistence for further comment, he said “I cannot say anything else at this moment, the issue is legal and the lawyer has told me to be careful.”

It sounds like the school did what they were supposed to do here. They didn't keep this loser around like they may have in the past. I hope everyone goes after this guy so he can be convicted. The worst part of this is the psychological damage done to this young girl who was taken advantage of. At least this bum will never serve in the priesthood now.

They need to go after him for criminal charges. I feel for the family of this creep as well, they'll have do deal with his disgrace the rest of their days. No Priesthood for this guy, we don't need the problems in our Church like the Roman Catholics have!

Drugs, sexual abuse and Rev.Nicholas Triantafillou refused to discuss whether the authorities were notified. What is this ? Who decides what to do in that place ?

Clergy in Massachusetts are MANDATORY reporters of child abuse. Failure to report is a crime in itself. If Father Nicholas Triantafillou failed to report the perpetrator to the police in this case, not only has he has broken the law, but he has also allowed a dangerous predator the opportunity to prey on other children.
