Would Republicans Actually Vote for Charles Manson Over Barack Obama?

Suppose for a moment that the crazed serial killer/conspirator Charles Manson was released from prison and decided to run for president, as a Republican. And suppose that he won the party’s nomination. The question is: would Republican voters remain so obsessed with unseating Barack Obama that they would actually vote for Manson instead? Th

Obama has done NOTHING that would justify being allowed a second term. His handling of the economy has been a total dud-job growth is stalled with predictions of high inflation by the end of this year (necessitating FED rate raising). But it's with respect to his handling of Hellenic issues that we as a community need to judge him. And here Obama has been an ABSOLUTE ZERO. I turned my back on George W. Bush and the Republicans in 2004 for his atrocious record on Greek issues and I expect Greek Democrats to do the same to Obama in 2012. And the economy was in far better shape in 2004 than it is today. I'd like to note that you didn't comment AT ALL on Hellenic issues in the above viewpoint, Constantinos-falling into the same old Greek American weakness of ignoring Hellenic issues during an election and focussing on Republican/Democrat dogma. You should know better, shame on you.

Amen. Philip. Amen. Whether it's Cyprus, FYROM, or what have you, Obama has done diddly squat for the Greek community.

And yet I have Greek friends who are going to walk like lemmings into the voting booth and pull the lever for that guy. That's why our community is taken for granted by the Republicrats and Demicans, they know comes election time Greeks buy into the same old Dem/Repub red-button BS hype. That too many of us ignore the parties performance on Hellenic issues. Very dissapointing for those of us who DO factor that into our votes.
