Greece: Anti-bailout party extends lead

EUROKINISSI
The poll, published Friday, gave the left-wing Syriza party 30 percent support, widening its lead over the center-right New Democracy party from 2 to 4 percentage points from a poll on May 19.
ATHENS, Greece (AP) — A left-wing, anti-bailout party in Greece has extended its lead ahead of next month's election, according to a new poll.

The poll, published Friday, gave the left-wing Syriza party 30 percent support, widening its lead over the center-right New Democracy party from 2 to 4 percentage points from a poll on May 19.

The June 17 election was called after the country's political parties were unable to reach a power-sharing deal in the wake of a May 6 vote that left no one with a parliamentary majority.

We shall see what we shall see! The only thing we can be assured is that the current Greek citizens has a extremely strong hatred of ND and PASOK, and I don't blame them at all. Logically, the end of Greece is at hand. The people wanted free jobs with no working, a low retirement age (50), high wages, all social services, no taxes, no business with bosses, and now they have it. So long Greece, you were once part of the ECC, and Europe.

Syriza's power is that they don't flip-flop, and it realized early that the rescue plan was done too late on purpose by the ECC, and was totally against Greece. The other 2 knuckle headed parties (ND & PASOK) changed their tune, only after the majority of Greeks abandoned then for the other parties. No country can afford to pay debt that is unrealistically high. Syriza's climb to power has scared the rest of the ECC, who only response is to avoid them. The ECC and Germany realizes that a Syriza type of party can spread to the other poorer member of the ECC, and mean the end of Germany's dominance of Europe. The Greek citizens finally see they must take their fight to come back to Germany's and the ECC doorstep, by bringing a game changer (Syriza) into the fold.

Wrong, Philip. Albania has applied to join the EU. Tsipras is paving Greece's way out.

I acknowledge my error, Basil. Albania is trying to improve it's economy, Greece is trying to destroy theirs.
