In the Spotlight: Quite Literally, Aktina Stathaki

Born in Athens, Greece, Aktina Stathaki studied acting at the Drama School of the National Greek Theater, worked as an actress, and finished a PhD program in Drama in Toronto before moving to New York City. It was there that she started the Between the Seas Festival of Mediterranean performing arts, of which she is both the artistic and producing director. In addition, she also writes critical essay on theatre, Aktina has been involved with almost every aspect of theatre production.
