This clown tacked a Trillion Dollars onto our grandchildrens credit card and unemployment went up. Maybe if he ever held a job in the private sector he might understand basic economics?

Personally, I wouldn't call him a clown, Phillip, because I respect his role as our commander-in-chief. But I agree with you completely regarding his having taken reckless spending to a whole new level which indeed hampers our present and future generations. You are right - he's been coddled for most of his life and simply does not understand the fundamentals of stimulating the economy.

Too many Americans put our Presidents on a pedestal, Constantinos. They are not Kings, they are glorified civil servants. What has Obama ever done in his life that I should bow and scrape before him? Never worked a day in his life in the private sector, served one term in the US Senate where he spent nearly every waking minute planning for his Presidential bid. He made no major contributions in the Senate while he was there. His whole life was spent looking at the next position up the ladder, rather than doing a good job at where he was. As President he's played over 100 rounds of golf in 3 years and he, Michelle and the kids have parlayed being President into a couple of dozen vacations at top locals around the world-on the taxpayers dime, of course. To top it all off he's been an absolute flop on issues important to Hellenes. I see NO reason this deadbeat deservers another term in the White House-and I say that with full recognition of what a mediocre Republican nominee Mitt Romney is. Romney could hardly do a worse job on Greek issues than Obama has done, it's time to show the Obama's the White House front door and give somebody else a chance. In 4 years if Romney doesn't get the job done you KNOW I'll be here pillorying him in similar fashion-just as I did to George W. Bush in 2004.

All valid points about Obama, Phillip. I don't disagree. Nonetheless, I think decorum is in order regarding our commanders-in-chief. If we don't think they're doing a good job, we can always vote them out. I think America deserves better than either Obama or Romney. The difference being that Obama is our leader at the moment. I take some shots at Romney from time to time - calling him Milquetoast Mitt is among my favorite expressions - but I won't do that if he becomes president. Though if I am unhappy with his performance, I will do my best to vote him out, too.

Obama is our Commander in Chief, but he never served a day in uniform himself. I'll honor the office, but the man is just a civil servant. We're far too deferential to them-it wasn't that way in America a century ago. The Presidency has become far too glorified, IMO.

I agree with you Phillip, Obama has been a community activist like Sharpton, a one time senator whose time in the senate was a prelude to him being president. Also he has been a fractionate politician, in terms of "his way or the highway" dealing with Congress. His proof of this was his first two years when he basically told the other side of the aisle, if you don't like want I do you can go jump off a bridge. Everything was one-sided for the liberal agenda, hence at the second year of his presidency his party or otherwise he got destroyed at the polls. I think that Mr Obama is about the worst president I have ever seen since Carter and that's not saying much. His presidency has been a mistake, and nightmare. He just doesn't know what he is doing!

This country will be in a world of trouble economically if Obama gets re-elected! He drove up the defecit by spending a ton of money and absolutely nothing to show for it. He's a socialist who caters to special interest groups and promotes laziness by continutally extending unemployment. I hope he's a one term president just like Carter was and I really hope Romney is the new Reagan or we're in a lot of trouble!

The bottom line to me is the lack of ANY subtantive support on Hellenic Issues. Obama has been an ABSOLUTE ZERO on any of the major Hellenic issues. He has done NOTHING, NADA, NOT A DAMN THING. For that reason alone he needs to be replaced. The choice we as an ethnic community have to make in the fall is to vote for someone who had the authority to do something on our issues-and did nothing. Or vote for someone who hasn't had that opportunity yet. I'm far from impressed with Mitt Romney, but I'm willing to give him a chance. Obama has had his chance(s).
