Message of Bolder Change: Greek Voters Have Shown Pasok and ND the Door

To the Editor: After Sunday’s elections I can only say that the Greek people are finally starting to wake up. They have suffered enough from the scoundrels who have controlled the top positions for decades, meaning Pasok and New Democracy. Just the mention of those two parties turns my stomach. They have both sold out Greece for a euro. As for im

So they voted for the candidate who is going to get Greece booted out of the EUROZONE-and possibly the EU. That's a real mature way to express your indignation with the corrupt current parties! Rather self-defeating, though. Important decisions should not be made during moments of passionate anger, Greeks have done that too often in their history.

The reak issue is the same people who put Greece into this catastrophe are running again and asking the Greeks to trust them again. The Greek political scene has to throw out these crooks once and for all. The catch 22 is that if the Greeks throw out the crooks, the only people left are the ones who will get Greece thrown out of Europe. So this situation is very bad for the Greek voter. Obviously, when faced with two bad choices, the Greek voters somehow must vote for the least offensive choice. At this point, I beleive Greece MUST stay withion Europe to survive economically and militarily. So sadly, this means voting for the two crooked parties that put Greece into this situation in the first place. The alternative parties cannot be trusted as they have blatantly stated they will act in ways which will get Greece thrown out, broke, militarily weak, people starving even more than at the present and mass immigration. So the Greek voters, if they have calmed down sufficiently to think this through, have no choice but to support ND and PASOK. Once the economy is on safe footing and people have calmed down, then would be the time to get rid of these crooked parties. But who will replace them? And political change happens in the heat of the moment. So it does not seem likely that the Greeks will cool down enough to wait to throw out the crooks responsible for this historic catastrophe.

Illegal Immigration should be stopped by any means possible. This will mean the army sealing its borders by whatever means. Greece can ill afford these so-called deportation centers, but should immediately send these criminals back out as soon as they come in. If it includes land mines I say that too. Greek have got to control their own country, if not fringe group like Golden Dawn will come in and succeed and become the dominate party in Greece. They have been feeding the homeless, the poor Greeks, and have stopped the illegals from committing crimes, while no other party has offered a way out except for deportation centers. If nothing is done to get rid of these illegals, than Golden Dawn will come in by the voice of the people.
