Greece gets caretaker PM until next vote in June

The head of Greece's Council of State Panagiotis Pikramenos, seen here with President Karolos Papoulias, will take the reins of the country until it holds new elections on June 17, state TV said a meeting of party leaders decided Wednesday, a day after power-sharing talks collapsed.
ATHENS, Greece (AP) — A senior judge has been sworn in to head Greece's caretaker government for a month as the debt-crippled country lurches through a political crisis that threatens its membership in the 17-nation eurozone.

The political uncertainty is worrying Greece's international creditors as well as Greeks themselves, who have withdrawn hundreds of millions of euros from banks since the May 6 election.

Council of State head Panagiotis Pikrammenos, 67, was appointed Wednesday to head a government that will lack the mandate to make any binding commitments until a new election, which is expected June 17.

So Europe and the world has another month to speculate on 'The Greeks-will they or won't they leave the EURO?!'. Wonderful, just wonderful. All this positive coverage of our mother nation-Greece is as popular in Europe today as ants at a picnic!. And I'm certain the Greek political parties will INSIST on another $ 50 million from the Greek treasury to fund their non-stop campaigning. They act like a bunch of immature kids who need to always be in the publics eye, even if that means acting like asses. Utterly appalling.

Maybe the Greeks should default and find out how a-holes who want no part in their own economy, expect the world to pay for their mess. The Greeks created this embarrassment and think the world owes help with no string attached, or no consequences for their actions. What a bunch of children Greece has for citizens, judgement day is fast approaching. We shall see what we shall see.
