Paul Sarbanes Presents Inaugural Kourides Lecture

NEW YORK – Not because he lived 99-and-a-half year but because he filled them with love and excellence and service to his church and community that the memory of Peter T. Kourides was honored on May 2 with the inaugural lecture series in his name at the University Club in New York.

Retired Senator Paul Sarbanes, a man of similar qualities and renown in the Greek-American community and beyond, was chosen by the Kourides family to present the first lecture, which was titled “Reflections on Public Service.” The series will be presented in coordination with the newly established Hellenic-American Cultural Foundation (HACF).
