Chian Community Bereft over Sgouros’ Sudden Death

NEW YORK – Pantelis Sgouros passed away at the age of 74 on Saturday afternoon, April 28. After struggling with pneumonia, his death plunged family and friends into grief, and many others mourned the loss of an esteemed leader of the greater Greek-American and Chian communities. He was a founding member and former president of the Chian Federation of America.
