New Huffington Center Opens at St. Sophia in LA

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral opened the $16 million Huffington Center at Saint Sophia on February 5th despite the economic downturn, thanks to numerous donors. The 53,820-square-foot Center houses the Wilson Hanks Family Cultural Center, banquet facilities in the Maniatakos Fellowship Center and Pavilion, as well as a lobby named after major donors Mary Lynn and Ted Rallis. The facility also includes a basketball court, classrooms, meeting rooms, as well as a library and museum.
