The Greeks are voting for the same political parties and cast of characters that got them in their economic mess in the first place. How will these elections help when its the same people going into office. All of the political leaders have been living off the Greek people for decades now.

The end of the Greek modern government is probably at hand. Its makes you wonder, "What will come next"?

Who can say what will come next? The Greeks as a society need to change their ways. They need to participate in their national life in every way, from paying their fair share of taxes to working hard for themselves and their families as well as for the national economy. This catastrophe took decades to come to this point. It will take a lot of time for the Greeks to change first their mentality then everything else. I must admit, I am finding it hard to imagine how Greece will get out of this situation as I don not see any unity. They are all still at their old tricks.

The world will still exist if the Greek government goes under. Maybe that's what Greeks need? At least if there is no government to turn to for favors the reality of having to depend on themselves and their own productivity will come home to many Greeks. For decades many thought they could get by on turning to the government for largesse-the teat is dry, or it soon will be.
