BOSTON, MA – Metropolitan Methodios of Boston though a letter dated Oct. 11, 2011 has begun a second round of crisis at the historic Greek Orthodox parish of St. George in Lynn, MA. He continues the controversy he started last December about a $20,000 increase to the parish’s annual contribution to the Archdiocese which the parish cannot afford and has refused to pay. Through the letter, Methodios reinstated the sanctions against the parish and its priest, Rev. George Tsoukalas, which he had imposed last December 20. To Tsoukalas, Methodios admonished that on “December 20, 2010, I directed that you confine yourself to exercising your priestly ministry exclusively, in Lynn and not to participate in any church services in any Parish in the Metropolis of Boston. I also directed that no Orthodox Priest may participate in services in Lynn without my permission. Until further notice, you are to abide by that directive.”

It is appalling to say the least the tactics of Methodios. After the conciliatory letter, here we go again! It seems that it is a matter of EGO and mentality of"i will show you who the boss is"Bartholomew made the BIG mistake to make them metropolitans in order for him to have control of N. America. The law suit that was just filed in Salt Lake City it is another example of the metropolitan's Isaiah arrogance.Salt lake OWES $172.326 to the Archdiocese but they turn the other way because according to Isaiah "he is the boss" and no one can tell him what to do.The people are the CHURCH,keep this up and soon enough you will lose them. http://takeourchurchback.blogs pot.com/

All of this over money, utterly appalling. I'll pay the $ 20,000 for the Lynn Parish if Methodios promises to immediately resign for the heartbreak he has caused. That is an open offer, and I'm deadly serious. If the money means that much to you Metropolitan Methodios than here's your opportunity to even accounts.

Metropolitan Methodios,if you think that "PRAY-PAY-and OBEY" is what OUR CHURCH stands for and not of LOVE ,COMPASSION and HUMILITY you should think again.Without the people there is not Church! You are here because of us.Be a Shepard not a DICTATOR. http://takeourchurchback.blogs pot.com/

Yesterday at Prophet Elias church in Salt Lake City and in front of a big crowd of about 50 people Fr.Kouremetis gave about a 10 minute sermon full of spiritual content. 1.Those who are suing the church are suing the angels also. 2.Only 5 people claim that they represent the community. 3.If this vote does not pass we are not a church but a secular "Hellenic club". 4.If this vote does not pass will have no church on Sundays. 5.He said that he has written (Lets see the letter)approval from the Metropolitan and the Archbishop to go forward with this vote. 6.He had death threats including saved voice messages. 7.He is upset with people that make fun of the weeping icon. 8.It has been one year and the icon is still weeping!!!! 9.He is upset for people calling him "oil boy". 10.The icon has caused miracles(he mentioned two). IS THE ARCHDIOCESE LISTENING?? http://takeourchurchback.blogs pot.com/
